The Toyota Bus-Train

Toyota and truck manufacturing would test a road-rail dual mode. Road-rail dual mode is a vehicle that can be legally use on both road and rail.

The bus gap of a bridge between road and rail with 4 rubber fo road and 4 steel wheels for ride on rail. It can accept around 25 passengers and it up to the Toyota Microbus. This bus has been service in Japan since 18 months ago, and they plan to create a new version in Japan 2008.

Hino, Kenichiro Baba said that the bus can expect to be another step toward more practical use of the dual mode vehicle. This will be the mass transit-public transportation vehicle for the future for Japanese people.
